Graphology Test

neonjunkie.org

Looks like I’m gonna spend the rest of this Saturday home alone, my parents has left the house since around eight. Lucky for me, my mum cooked and there is enough food to tame the monster in my stomach until everyone comes back. I was eating my lunch with the TV on and Sarah Sechan’s talk show came on it. It was already half way through the show, and they were about to welcome another guest who is a professional. The segment’s topic was graphology. Interesting, I thought, since it was my first time hearing such thing.

The guest they invited was Deborah Dewi, a graphologist who’s been in the field for 5 years. She is also the one and only graphologist from Indonesia affiliated with the American Association of Handwriting Analysts (AAHA) and the American Handwriting Analysis Foundation (AHAF). Being the first person in your entire nation to be certified under twinternational handwriting associations,  how cool is that?

There must be people who don’t know beans about graphology, so before we go any further, below is how Wikipedia defines it:

Graphology is the analysis of the physical characteristics and patterns of handwriting purporting to be able to identify the writer, indicating psychological state at the time of writing, or evaluating personality characteristic.

Seems like people frequently confuse graphology (whose other name is graphoanalysis) with graphanalysis. Probably due to the similarity in name, as well as the fact that the latter deals with examinations of handwritten documents. According to this page, the difference between the two lays mainly in the objectives and the period of time they require for someone to get certified.

If a graphology aims to determine one’s personality characteristics etc. based on the appearance of their handwriting, a graphoanalysis or forensic document examination aims to determine the authenticity or true history of a document or disputed signature. Another big difference is that “the practice of graphology also requires relatively a simple certification, which can be completed in just a few months, while to become a certified forensic document examiner one is required to train a minimum of two years before embarking on certification which could take another year and a half to two years.”

After watching the show, I was stoked to know more about how graphology works. So, I searched for any simpler analysis method that amateurs like me can do without the help of professionals. These sites came up in the results, they that provide online graphology tests and I’ve given one a try myself. It analyzed the details of my handwriting through 34 questions and after answering all of them, I’d gotta sign up in order to get my result (which is only a “glimpse of my personality” based on the answers). We need to pay for a more complete and detailed analysis. Lol

My handwriting analysis

If any of you want to try it too, simply click  here or here. I personally tried the second one since the first took forever to load on my browser. I suggest you take the test now to figure out what it tells about your psychological state and personality characteristics. If you do, please keep in mind that (as Deborah Dewi has often said) a professional graphologist will never be able to tell your future and fortune, so there’s no way these tests will. Lmao

Graphology is a complicated and controversial science. A complete, accurate analysis requires an expert... as well as a total overview of your handwriting: size, context, structure, etc. etc. So please accept this quiz as a ‘slice’ of your penmanship/personality.

On top of that, nobody should ever get same result, as there’s little to no possibility of meeting two people (even twin siblings) with exact similar handwriting styles in this world. These online tests only analyze handwritings based on multiple choice answers we choose, there needs to be more comprehensive tests conducted to get the best result. If you want an accurate analysis, go hire a graphologist! 😆

Well, what does your handwriting say about you?
