We are told that success in school, business and our personal lives depends on our ability to behave like extroverts.
Such relevant quote which each and every one of us could second. Even in the small, daily activities, we are required to somehow keep our true introverted nature under wraps to clothe ourselves in a faux extroverted persona. Say, when we were to read out an essay in front of the class or when we were to do a presentation at office meeting. We might be sweating like mad, or biting nails, but still we would do it anyway.
I remember my mum and I were watching TV and I kept shaking my head at some TV personalities doing bold stuff on the show. Mum said, “this type of people who do not hold back are usually the ones to wind up successful.” That sentence has always stuck out to me since. I agree. People like us are trapped in out pride and ego most of the times, too embarrassed to do certain things. We always hold back, unbeknownst to us, that will not bring us anywhere.
